Hey all,
The bardic circle I'm in is planning on having a drum circle at the beach in July . I'd love to make it a Village Mandala special event as well.
Normal our circles are scheduled for evening of the 2nd Friday of the month. In July, that's the 13th - so auspicious, and someone's birthday, to boot! If I hear that's a problem for a number of VM drummers, I can lobby for moving it to Saturday the 14th in the late afternoon and evening. We already have a volunteer to camp on a fire ring for us, so we can have a bonfire.
Our bardic doesn't ask a fee, but bringing snacks to share is appreciated.
So let me know if one day or the other is especially preferred.

I'm guessing Bolsa Chica beach or thereabouts.
Okay, after a consult with Vern our Rhythm Genie and Paula our Birthday Girl, we've settled on having this beach blanket bonfire bingo bash on Saturday July 14th.
